My Daughter (22 Months) Is Taking Augmentin. I Have Had

My daughter (22 months) is taking Augmentin. I have had such a hard time getting her to take it because the moment she tastes it she spits it out or gags it up. I've mixed it with everything under the sun and the only thing that has been working is mixing it with her bottle. The only thing is that I have to mix it with 8 oz of milk to dilute it enough for her to take it. She will not drink that much all at once. Is it decreasing the effect of the antibiotic if I give her one dose over the course of 2 hours?
