My Daughter, Age 45, Was Hospitalized For Extreme Confusion, Not

My daughter, age 45, was hospitalized for extreme confusion, not eating. She has been on high does of nor co and fentyl patches for about a year. When they did a urine and blood screen none of these drugs showed up in her system? Why would that be, I've watched her take them. She has turners Syndrome and many health issues.
