My Daughter Fell And Got Laceration In Achilles Area With

My daughter fell and got laceration in Achilles area with stiches last week. . Didn't damage tendons but difficult to walk so on crutches. Site look like healing well but she has a lot of edema in her lower leg and foot. Denies any pain. Should I be concerned.
