My daughter gave birth on November 27th. During labor after dilating to 10cm. The doctor was unavailable and the nurses mace her wait to push for an hour and a half. The baby's head was crowning during that time. After coming home on the 3rd of Dec she went to the error and had an infection so they gave her antibiotics. She had a follow up with her obviously today and he said her wbcs were very high. He gave her 2 antibiotic injections and will call her tomorrow. Could being left in labor dilated to a 10 for so long cause an infection in her uterus?
