My Daughter Got Bitten By My Sisters Dog(not Sure Whether

My daughter got bitten by my sisters dog(not sure whether the dog has been vaccinated recently)on the 25th of December. We washed her wound immediately and took her to the GP the next day. He had a look at her finger and gave all clear. However now she has black/brown spots on her finger nail where she was bitten. What should I do?
