My Daughter Had ACL Surgery On Friday And She Is

My daughter had ACL surgery on Friday and she is having pain in her calf muscle. The dr. used her patela tendon to repair the ACL. She has been doing her daily exercises and stretches. She gets up and walks some with crutches, but she has pain in her calf. I rub it and can't tell if its just tight or if there is a knot. What else can I look for or do to check for blood clot??? What are symtoms of blood clot? Thanks, Sheryl in Dallas
