My Daughter Had A Stem Wave Installed About 10 Days
My daughter had a stem wave installed about 10 days ago by her pain doctor.
There is a hard lump which has increased in size and causing pain.
She thinks there may be a substance in the equipment that she is allergic to- like nickel.
They don't have an answer for her yet. Our fear is infection as she has a leg that
has had two knee replacements, with shunts in the lower and upper leg.
Is the stem an orthopedic or neurology issue? Any suggestions which way to resolve?
