My Daughter Has A New Born And Her Friend Does

My daughter has a new born and her friend does also but my question is about an ear infection. My daughters friend just told her that her baby had a Double Ear Infections and I have never heard of a Double Ear Infection and I was wondering if there is such a thing or if it is just called an Ear infection?
