My Daughter Has A Ringworm On The Inside Of Her

My daughter has a ringworm on the inside of her elbow, and it is oozing a clear liquid. We are currently using Lotrimin 4xs a day. Is the clear liquid supposed to be oozing from the site? And I am concerned that the oozing liquid can infect another child since it's not covered.
