My Daughter Has A Very Swollen Stomach And She Has

My daughter has a very swollen stomach and she has been complaining that it hurts and feels bloated. She has been starting her period twice a month sometimes. I will be taking her for a pelvic utra sound on Thursday to see if she has paleps. Is this a side effect. She take medication for stress and depression can this also be effecting her stomach?
