My Daughter Has Been Benzo Dependant ( By Prescription) For

My daughter has been benzo dependant ( by prescription) for around 8 years, she now is prescribed 1.5 mg of Klonopin per day which she takes at bedtime. In the past she was prescribed up to 3.5 mg per day but has weaned herself off down to 1.5 per day but cannot seem to be able to wean herself any lower. She has serious panic and anxiety attacks when she has attempted to lower her dosage below the 1.5 mgs. She is working with doctors on this quest. Occasionally she has a reaction when she takes her dosage that she describes as worms crawling on her brain, headaches, and last night, numbness in her jaw and mouth, severe headache in her jaw and ear area sweaty hands and feet and extreme anxiety. This does happen often but when it does she is very concerned for her life and therefore so am I. She is 38 y o and wants to be benzo independent. Any ideas on her occasional reactions?
