My Daughter Has Had Her Ears Pierced Since Dec 2015.

My daughter has had her ears pierced since Dec 2015. She has a small bump near the earring hole. it is painless, I'm concerned it will get worse. I was told to try tea tree oil and have done so. it does seem to help a little, but the bump always comes back. please advise
