My Daughter Has Tonsillitis (Aged 5) And Has Had A

My daughter has tonsillitis (Aged 5) and has had a fever for about a week, we got some Erythromycin antibiotics yesterday and she has been vomiting since. She does suffer with repeated episodes of tonsillitis and seems to take a long time to clear, she isn't usually sick with it. Is this normal?
