My Daughter Is 16 & Has Been On Depo Shot

My daughter is 16 & has been on depo shot for about a year. In the past year she has visited the ER for chest pains & been diagnosed with Costochondritis twice & now MVP & Mitral valve regurgitation. Now she is starting to have severe anxiety. The Doctor is thinking she is having issues with social anxiety & is wanting to put her on klonopin. I am puzzled because before this past year my daughter was a competition cheerleader & never had issues preforming. I'm starting to wonder if this could ALL be from this depo shot?
