My Daughter Is 17 Years Old. She Has Been Out

My daughter is 17 years old. She has been out of school since October. Her blood work shows she has the adenovirus. Here it is January 13th and we still feel just as bad. Her body aches and hurts to the touch. Her spline and liver are enlarged. We are very concerned and upset that she isn't better. Do you have any idea what this could be?
