My Daughter Is 25. She Gets A Uti Like Once

My daughter is 25. She gets a uti like once a year. At the moment she feels she has another one. She is sore in lower abdomen, discomfort when urinating , slightly nauseous . Should I take her to see a doctor or is there a way to get the medicine called in for her?
