My Daughter Is 40 And Just Had A Baby 6months

My daughter is 40 and just had a baby 6months ago. Tonight I was talking to her and she just stopped perfectly still starring into space for about 4mins, when she came round she didn't know what had happened.
She is in bed now but I'm worried and I don't know if she should have gone straight to the hospital.
Is it safe for her to see her GP in the morning ?
