My Daughter Is Away At College. She Reports Losing 20

My daughter is away at college. She reports losing 20 pounds jn less than 4 weeks. Her appetite has been good. She has been exercising and until recently felt fine. Now she has just slept all day. She has not vomited, but says now for the first time she feels flu like symptoms and may have a temperature. I am concerned that she may have a sudden onset of diabetes. Obviously we need to find a doctor for her but her college (Belmont University) in Nashville does not have anything other than a nurse practitioner.
