My Daughter Is Experiencing Hives On Her Ears After Having

My daughter is experiencing hives on her ears after having them pierced 2 days ago. Her ears were pierced with a surgical steel instrument and surgical steel earrings. She complains that they itch most after applying saline solution(for sensitive eyes) which we bought over the counter.
