My Daughter Is One, And She Has Had Very Little

My daughter is one, and she has had very little appetite, diarrhea, and a really bad cough for almost a week now. I took her into the ER last night because her doctor could not fit her in on Wednesday, and he gave her a steroid medication and an antibiotic. She gagged up the antibiotic, she has been gagging up everything, but last night she screamed all night long and tonight she is kicking and screaming. Could the steroid be doing this to her????
