My Daughter Is Two Year Old And Cant Breath Through

My daughter is two year old and cant breath through her nose when she is sleeping she snores really bad her breath smells. sometimes she wakes up crying from her sleeping because she cant breath. took her to see her doctor but her doctor said she has a respiratory virus to let it ran its course, but in the meantime my daughter and us cant sleep. its going on three days today. we don't know what else to do.
