My Daughter On Her Right Foot Under The Large Toe

My daughter on her right foot under the large toe on the ball of her foot, has some swelling and redness. she said it started a couple of days ago but hurts worse now. She is 10 and she just got new shoes a few days ago and thought it may be from that but when I saw some swelling and redness I was not sure.
