My Daughter Recently Had A Shunt Revision And We've Noticed

My daughter recently had a shunt revision and we've noticed that the proximal valve is very prominent/superficial since the post-operative swelling subsided. (Now 6 weeks post op). She is c/o dizziness, some headaches, memory loss, and has a dent or divot (approximately 1cm in diameter) next to the superficial area. The dent just appeared in the last few days. Should we be calling the surgeon or wait for follow up?
