My Daughter Took Gabapentin For 1 Day And Begin To

My daughter took Gabapentin for 1 day and begin to have stomach pain,vomiting and had some dizziness. We took her to the emergency room and they seemed to think that this was not related to the medication but was viral. She is taking it for nerve pain in her right foot. She is also seeing a PT for the foot and when he found out she was taking this medicine, he called her pediatrician and advised her to have my daughter stop the meds. We did stop her but the tingling and numbness still persist in her feet. What would your advice be? Should she continue this medication?
