My Daughter Was Prescribed Advair By Her Doctor For About

My daughter was prescribed Advair by her doctor for about a month during her second trimester of pregnancy to relieve chest pains and stomach discomfort. Her 6 yr old daughter now suffers from chronic asthma (viral induced), and was just discharged from 3 days in the ICU. She has missed 31 days of school this semester, and may need to be home-schooled to keep her away from other kids' viruses. My daughter is now terrified her Advair use during pregnancy may have caused her child's asthma. Is this possible?
