My Daughter Went To The Doctor Today For Cold Symptoms.

My daughter went to the doctor today for cold symptoms. We live far from each other so i haven't seen her. The doctor was concerned about the swelling in her neck and ordered bloodwork and an ultrasound of her thyroid. The doctor just called my daughter and said there is a large mass on her thyroid and she needs a biopsy. I know you haven't seen her but i am very nervous about this. what do you think?
