My Daughter Who Lives Out Of State Sliced A Portion

My daughter who lives out of state sliced a portion of the side of her pinky off. Stitches were not indicated. ER dr used a compression bandage to stop bleeding. This happened last Thursday. Tonight she is back in ER with swollen, numb and blistered pinky. Supposedly compression bandage as too tight. As mom I am worried. Will these symptoms go away or should I pack my bags and get on the road?
