My Daughter Woke Up Today With Red Rash Like Bumps

My daughter woke up today with red rash like bumps on her legs, arms and neck. They itch horribly. Throughout the day it seems more of these have appeared and there is one on her face now. She went to the doctor and they only gave her a steroid shot for the itchiness. She says that the bumps feel warm to the touch.

Any ideas on what this could be.
