My Daughter's Doctor Put Her On Contrave And She Took

My daughter's doctor put her on Contrave and she took it for a while then ran out. She was off it for about a month and last week she got up with a severe headache, high blood pressure (199/100). While she was waiting in the doctor's office her left side went numb. The doctor did not seem concerned at all and he put her back on the Contrave along with a blood pressure medication. He told her it was tight muscles in her back and neck and they were causing the headache and high blood pressure. He said the Contrave would lower her blood pressure and help with the headache. Now, I just read a list of side effects of Contrave and headaches and high blood pressure are two of them. I also read the it can cause seizures. She is overweight and takes them for weight control but does not diet. This worries me and I am afraid she will have a stroke or heart attack from it. Please tell me your thoughts on this.
