My Daughters Has Bruising On Her Cheeks. She Has Been

My daughters has bruising on her cheeks. She has been kind of sucking on her gums inside her mouth due to extra room from missing teeth. It is looking like she has a birthmark on each side of her face. Is it possible this sucking and chewing she is doing is causing this to happen? And could the marks become permanent?
