My Daughter's Throat Has Been Hurting For Almost A Month

My daughter's throat has been hurting for almost a month now. I thought it was a sinus infection, and the doctor gave her antibiotics to treat it. But after finishing them all, her throat is even worse. She can barely swallow now and is in a lot of pain. She started throwing up this morning. What do you think is wrong with her? She is 16.
