My Doctor And Pharmacist Told Me Not To Take Ibuprofen

My doctor and pharmacist told me not to take ibuprofen with my meloxicam, well my question is... I am having some very bad back pains, lower back more then upper, and I have some over the counter back medication ‘Backaid Max’. Do you think it would be ok to take this medication with my meloxicam?
