My Doctor Has Been Talking About Starting Blood Sugar Meds

My doctor has been talking about starting blood sugar meds - I am pre diabetic. But my weight has come down and my A1C has dropped from 6.2 to 5.9 in the last three-four months. I am resisting meds because I want to fix my body and not take meds. Your thoughts?
