My Doctor Prescribed Fertomid For 2 Cycles However He Suggested

My doctor prescribed Fertomid for 2 cycles however he suggested that I first go onto biphasil for two months to kind of regulate my period and to have a better success in conceiving. I'm in the fourth day of my period and is very tempted to start with Fertomid on day 5. Should I first start with biphasil birth control or is it not necesssary.
