My Doctor Put Me On Metoprolol 50 A Couple Of

My doctor put me on Metoprolol 50 a couple of weeks ago and now I am expereincing some reactions. I will sweat one minute & be cold the next. I have been coughing up dark yellow mucous,sometimes some green or brown. I'm having difficulty breathing. I do have COPD, asthma. emphasema. I called my doctor & have not heard anything as of yet. I was feeling sick & trouble breathing. I wish I knew what to do. I was taking 1 pill 3 x a day. Today I cut the pill in half & I do feel much better.
