My Doctor Recommended Ambrolite S Thrice A Day Four Ml

My doctor recommended ambrolite s thrice a day four ml and mucilite five ml once in night I have given the dose today itself but she had started to cough more heavily with release of mucus I have went twice to doctor pls suggest what should I do? I m worried my daughter is four years old
