My Doctor Saw Me For Phlebitis Today But Is Concerned

My doctor saw me for phlebitis today but is concerned that it may be a different condition involving the derma and muscle layers. She wants me to have my dermatologist do a biopsy to determine if this is an issue. Treatment is steroids. I cannot remember the name of it and wanted to look it up for information purposes.
