My doctor tells me I have to come into her office to get a written prescription for cyclobenazapine because it is a controlled substance per its classification. I have had this numerous times in my past because I have chronic lower back pain and have flare ups when my back gets really tight. I probably use it a few times a year. Is it true you have to get a written prescription for this medication.
