My Dog Ate Something That Looks Like Thick Flexible Plastic.

My dog ate something that looks like thick flexible plastic. She threw up several pieces. Since the she has thrown up several times. It's just foamy phlegm. She won't eat or drink. She tries to play but is obviously feeling bad. She is just a year old and is spayed. What should we do? How long do we wait before taking her into the vet?
