My Dog Has A Dark Coffee Ground Type Discharge From

My dog has a dark coffee ground type discharge from his ear and he scratches it constantly. I have tried to clean it with a cotton swab and hydrogen peroxide which seems to help for a while. I think he has ear mites and am wondering what type of drops would work to rid these.
