My Dog Is 4 Years Old And Started Having Seizures

My dog is 4 years old and started having seizures last year. His vet started him on phenobarbital and after a few months he had a reaction. He became anemic. Vet stopped pheno and put him on bromide. In addition, he put him on prednisone for 14 days which he is currently on. We have done quite a few blood tests, and he keeps assuring me there is no liver, kidney or other organ disease. His red blood cells have dropped and his white blood cells have gone up, but he said when he last checked, his blood cells only dropped by one instead of 3 in his previous blood test. His red blood cells are at 19 when we last checked on 3/21. My dog is constantly panting, and body temperature warm but no fever. His breathing is rapid. He is drinking lots of water, eating, and has stool, but a little soft. Has been urinating a lot, but today he took a long time to urinate and even urinated while he was in the motion of walking. Yesterday for the first time he peed inside our RV. We are camping right now. He NEVER does that and we have been making sure to take him out more often than normal. He is tired and not his usual happy self. The vet says it will be about 2 weeks before he gets his color back. He has been pale for quite a while now. Very concerned. The Vet will not be back from Easter break until April 4. Should I take him to a veterinary specialist?
