My Dr Sent Me For An Ultrasound Because I Was

My dr sent me for an ultrasound because I was experiencing pain in my lower left quadrant which I thought was a gastrointestinal issue. During he ultrasound, the technician asked to switch to an internal. My dr. Called today to say there was an incidental finding of a shadow on my ovary. What could this be?
