My Elderly Father Has PAD With Open Ulcers On His

My elderly father has PAD with open ulcers on his legs, recently positive for MRSA and other bacteria.
He lives in an assisted living facility, his bandages are changed daily by Nurse on Call, and he is on the antibiotic Bactrim. I never touch his legs. Can I catch MRSA when I visit his room, hug and kiss him?
