My Eosinophils Count Is 8.4% And Outside The Normal 1%-5%

My eosinophils count is 8.4% and outside the normal 1%-5% range while my ABS eosiniphils are just above the threshold for them on the CBC. I have been taking Coreg 25mg/day for about 6 weeks. Could this cause the elevation? I am asymptomatic in all other possible symptoms associated with elevated eosinophils. My doctor has referred me to a hematologist for further examination. Is this needed? What would be your approach in this case?
