My Ex-husband Has CHF And His Lungs Fill With Fluid.

My ex-husband has CHF and his lungs fill with fluid. He is diabetic and last week had pneumonia. He has been hallucinating that he is on the bed, but he feels like he is standing in front of the window across the room. Today the skin on his face and earlobes is black. He is Hispanic. He can't stand up from the chair, and he can only walk 3-5 steps before gasping for air. Is the skin turning black and the hallucinations an indication that he is near death?
