My Ex Husband Passed Away Not Long Ago. I Sent

My ex husband passed away not long ago. I sent him to a doctor, thinking he might have Hemochromatosis. He denied having it, but he told his best friend he had. I believe he denied it as he was a big drinker, and most likely didn't want anyone lecturing him. I don't want to stir up trouble with his family, but I do know it's genetic, and wondered if it was worth warning them, not actually sure they'd believe me. His brother shows signs, including gout... Also wondering if I should get my son tested, although he shows none of the signs my ex had. Thanks for listening.
