My Ex Partner Has Just Abused Me He Punched Me

My ex partner has just abused me he punched me in the side of my head causing a lot of swelling by my temple and eye, I didn't loose consciousness i feel ok besides tired and pain, but it's hurting my eye on that side too, and it happened about 2 hrs ago is it Oka to sleep? I wanted to know if I should go to hospital? I'm worried because a blow to the temple can be leathful right?
