My Exboy Friend Has Been Diagnosed With NASH,we Aren't Together

My exboy friend has been diagnosed with NASH,we aren't together anymore but I ended up getting pregnant,and have a son,did a paternity test and he is his son,do I need to get my son tested for this disease that he has?
