My Eye Doctor Just Prescribed Tobradex St For A Blocked

My eye doctor just prescribed tobradex st for a blocked tear duct. Recently I got a prescription of erythromycin op ointment for my newborn grandson who also had blocked tear ducts. The tobradex st is over $200--- can I refill and use the erythromycin instead?
