My Eye Doctor Told Me Today That I Should Stay

My eye doctor told me today that I should stay away from any and all steroids. I am a glaucoma patient and my pressure rose very suddenly and I had been using a nasal spray and a cream named triamcinolone, when he saw that I was using these drugs he knew immediately what had happened. No eye doctor has ever told me this before. I trust my doctor but I am just looking for a second opinion.
